There is so much beauty and mystery in the world, so many things to place value upon and so many things to cherish for the rest of our lives. And one of those “things” is you, and the person that values you has to be you. In order to achieve the love, compassion, and true beauty that we all wish to possess we need to first recognize it in ourselves, give it to ourselves, recognize that we are valuable on our own. Offer love to yourself, offer compassion to yourself, thrive on the inside and the let the beauty come from within. You are enough on your own and you will always be enough on your own, no matter how many material things you own, what counts is how you truly feel about self. And the lifelong question of whether or not, as a person, if you’ve grown.
GEMINI MOON:
In an ideal state of being the mind and the heart, the emotions and the thoughts, would always intertwine in effortless harmony. Fortunately or unfortunately, we were never meant to be perfect in the way that we exist, and neither are our hearts and our minds. Don’t let anyone make you feel as if your emotions are invalid, as if certain things are all in your head, do not question the authenticity of how you feel. We feel for a reason and what we feel is true, so don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Let your heart bloom without any restriction and with all it’s freedom. Sometimes we attempt to rationalize things that can’t truly be rationalized and that’s fine, after all we all do it once in a while. But consider the difference between thinking your emotions and feeling your emotions, and which one you would be able to gain from.
CANCER MOON:
The past is a beautiful and a comforting thing, it connects us to the people and environments and things that we are no longer able to see. The past may hold its ground in your heart but consider which parts of the past you can healthily hold and which parts you can let go. Sure, memories that endlessly feel warm are memories that should be cherished, but be careful with how long you hold on to the colder ones. Some things from our past are things that we have to learn to let go, the things that stifle us, trap us, are responsible for the heaviness of a heart late at night and tears that roll, large and hot, down a face, are memories that shouldn’t be stowed away. If we continuously exist in pain, whether it’s consciously or subconsciously, our wounds will never heal and our pain will never cease.
LEO MOON:
Attention is something that we all, regardless the sign, love to bask in. Whether it comes from stranger or loved ones, I don’t think that there’s a single person that could truthfully deny that they enjoy attention from time to time. And that’s perfectly fine, humans are social creatures and we require attention in order to properly and healthily function. However, there is only so much weight and so much power that attention from others can hold in your life. Become consumed by attention and you will not be able to truly see yourself, suffer from a lack of attention and you may not be able to truly see others. It’s a struggle but it’s something that can come to balance, something that requires you to not place your worth on it. Being ignored does not make you any less of a person. Not being “seen” does not make you any less of a person. Your emotions are still valid without validation. And you have to remember that you are not defined by the attention that others give for the rest of your life.
VIRGO MOON:
The intricate workings of the earth is honestly one of its many attributes that makes it so enjoyable and so beautiful. The complexity of everything on this earth and the complexity of you will always be something that will remain true, but you have to consider the bareness of things and what the earth is, what you are, when you strip away the layers. Details are beautiful but so is simplicity. There is power in existing with everything that you’ve got and there is power in existing just to exist, and the ladder may often be overlooked. Yes, a busy and errand filled life with day after day of new environments and new people, all organized down to the exact times, could be intriguing but what about living simply? Taking a day off. Waking without an alarm. Eating intuitively. Letting love guide your days. Letting the earth guide your days. Sitting outside with soft breezes that carry the sweet scent of flowers and brush your face. And knowing that everything is going to be ok.
LIBRA MOON:
Emotions are something that serves as one of the strongest connections, the feelings that we share hold us together in bonds that are formed by knowing how each other is hurting. And there’s a careful balance to all of this, a will to not upset the steadiness in which we exist. But what is the point of balance when you are left out of the equations. What is the point of giving everything away to keep others calm when your own heart is a storm? The surface of the moon is littered with imperfections, craters and sudden changes in hues and in colors, it’s roundness is more egg like and it’s never steady, instead it’s something that’s always changing. Yet there is still so much beauty from the moon, in the waves lapping at the shore and the silvery light late at night that many people adore. And in the way that the moon can be beautiful and a source of true beauty for others with its imperfections your heart can too. Your emotions don’t have to be perfect, they just have to be authentic. And with that you will thrive, no matter what.
SCORPIO MOON:
There are some things laid to rest eternally in our heart, some things that will never see the light of day and are a great source of pain. And the secrets that you carry cannot remain secrets for the rest of your life, especially when they are emotionally driven secrets. Bury your pain, water it by wallowing in it, and you have sprouted a wound inside that will never begin to heal. Confront your pain, refuse to take care of it, uproot, and your wounds will die along with the secret and along with the pain. It may be difficult, as we often do not know who to trust, who is kind and who is not, who we can let hear about our emotions and our deepest thoughts. But sometimes the only way we are able to heal is by letting go, by releasing secrets that have been kept for far too long, and sometimes letting go means communicating how you feel to others and growing from it. Do not back you and your feelings into a corner. There are ways of emotional expansion that can become abundantly clear to you once you learn that being transparent, or even being translucent, does not make you completely and utterly exposed.
SAGITTARIUS MOON:
Sometimes the earth seems endless, as if the sky and the ocean and the land all expand on a plane with no limits, as if there’s room for Infinite expansion and infinite freedom. And sometimes you treat your heart and your innermost emotions like the mirage that is the endless earth. You are boundless, weightless, expansive in the way that you exist but that doesn’t mean that certain things cannot catch up to you. Running is always an option but there will be a time when you run out of places to go, when you are forced to face all of the emotional baggage that you may harbor in your heart, whether you feel endless and light or not. Take your emotions and how you feel into careful consideration. I’m not telling you to wallow in your emotions but I am telling you to stay in them long enough to experience them and to know how you’re truly feeling. In order to grow for your emotions you have to let yourself stay still long enough to feel them, and that may be something that you have to work on. Continue to be weightless and effortlessly expansive in the way that you exist, as everything about you is already wonderful, but do not forget that your emotions are apart of you and that you cannot outrun yourself.
CAPRICORN MOON:
Expectations are apart of our daily lives. Expectations are put on us by strangers, by our friends, by our lovers, by our parents, and sometimes the existing weight of all of that pressure is something that we cannot withstand. In the back of your mind there may always be thoughts that say I could’ve done this, I could’ve done better, I could’ve I could’ve I could’ve I could’ve, and undoubtedly these sayings will intertwine with your emotions. Do not feel as if you have to live up to other’s emotional expectations. You don’t have to smile if you don’t want to. You can smile if you want to. You can cry if you want to. You don’t have to cry if you don’t want to. Your emotional expression is just that, yours, and do not let others pressure you “feeling” what is expected of you and not what is actually there. Your emotions cannot ever be not enough because they should never be something that’s judged in the first place, your emotions are pure, they are raw, and they are your own, others cannot expect you to filter them for your viewing pleasure. Feel what you feel and feel it unabashedly, their expectations cannot hold you back from yourself.
AQUARIUS MOON:
Your mind is to be valued as something that is beautiful, something that holds us together and something that is able to process the world without a strong filter, but there’s a time and a place for everything, and something that you have to make sure of is that you allow your emotions to have both a time and a place no matter. It easy to become detactched from our emotions when we feel too strongly, believe me, it’s much easier to shut off how you feel and to quickly and efficiently get things done versus taking time out of your day to process often complicated emotions. However, I believe that our mental health is more important then getting through life the quicker and less complicated way. Your emotions are a definite part of your mental health, whether you realize it or not, and it’s important that you take time to properly address how you feel and to not push down your emotions. Feeling sad? What has truly caused that? Feeling angry? What has made you feel this way? Asking questions about your emotions is the first step to resolving them, and in order to do that you have to dwell on them in the first place.
PISCES MOON:
As the last sign that moon could be in you are someone who has experienced everything and every emotion. Your emotions are like an endless ocean that other’s tears often get lost in, your sadness may be something that grows and becomes more and more expansive as you absorb other’s emotions. And once water mixes with water you are unable to tell the original from the additive, and that could be the same problem with your emotions. Your heart is something that is large and is able to encompass all but in order to heal others you have to be able to heal yourself, and in order to heal yourself you have to know what emotions are actually yours. Make time to feel everything from yourself. Spend a day in relaxing isolation, lay with your feelings and your feelings them. Process them, feel them, begin to be able to understand your emotions and what has caused them. I strongly advise that you recognize that although selflessly helping others is one of the greatest things you can do in life, there is value in taking a break from the problems of others and properly nurturing yourself.

Swirls of Jupiter
Jupiter is a very stormy, turbulent, violent planet. The planet completes a day (or one complete rotation) within roughly 10 hours, which creates massive winds, producing these swirls, and violent storms. The fast rotation coupled with the fact that the planet is nothing but gas greatly multiplies the Coriolis effect. Earth too has a Coriolis effect, this creates the characteristic hurricane shapes and also contributes to the fact that storms will spin the opposite direction in different hemispheres. Luckily, our rotation is slower - our storms are less frequent and less violent than they would be if our days were shorter.
